Hope Shows founder and executive director, Robyn Florian, pours out her passion for Hope through the production of Hope Shows events, campaigns and resources. Equipped with over two decades of Christian music event production and nonprofit communications experience, Robyn now invests in opportunities to come alongside people walking through dark seasons of despair and depression.
Robyn got an early start in the event industry, producing her first Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Association telethon carnival at the age of 12 :-), followed by leadership roles in multiple school and youth group events, four years on executive staff for Greenville College’s student-led Christian music festival, AgapeFest (1984-88), and event production support for Author/Speaker Tony Campolo and CCM artist Steve Camp’s Aids Crisis and Christians Today (ACCT) benefit events (1989).
As director of College Relations and Marketing at her alma mater (1997-2009), Robyn served as marketing and booking advisor for AgapeFest while providing event production and communications support for numerous awareness-raising, fundraising, academic and admissions events. During her tenure at Greenville College, Robyn also served in a national leadership role as a member of the Commission for Public Relations Officers (CPRO) with the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU), providing oversight and coordination for the annual Chief Communication Officers conference.
