2009 CCCU-PR Conference – UnLimited Engagement – Los Angeles, CA

Proposed, developed and served on the production team for the 2009 Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU) Chief Communication Officers Conference, “UN-Limited Engagement: Marketing High Ed in High Def,” as a member of the national CCCU Commission for Public Relations Officers (CPRO).

Equipped with both experience and understanding regarding the significance of effective digital marketing initiatives, the 2009 conference sought nationally-recognized guest speakers, including The DeMoss Group’s Mark DeMoss, former ABC news correspondent and PR consultant Loretta Rogers Cooper, principal partner at TVP Communications, Teresa Valerio Parrot, Rebecca Ver Straten-McSparran, director of the CCCU Los Angeles Film Studies Program. The event also offered numerous breakout sessions, case study reports and round table discussions around the topics of digital marketing and Christian higher education.

The annual CCCU Chief Communication Officers conference welcomes public relations, marketing and communications professionals from over 100 Christian colleges and universities across North America.
